Q1. What do I need to do in order to run Pangaea Activities?
A. In order to run Pangaea Activities, you must install the Pangaea Pack page first. Using the Pangaea Pack, which ensures that Activities are run smoothly, requires the payment of a few fees.
In the first year of running Activities, a fee is required for the setup of the Pangaea Master Manual and Net System. From the next year onward, a server maintenance fee for the upkeep of internet services for participants will also become necessary. Please note that installation fees for the Pangaea Pack vary according to activity location and number of participants. For more information, please visit the Pangaea Office website.
Q2.What things are necessary to run an Activity?
A.In addition to installing the Pangaea Pack, appropriate personnel, an appropriate location, preparation of materials, and preparation for Pangaea Pack installation and maintenance fees are also necessary.
1)Appropriate Personnel
Staff and participants must be recruited. Volunteers should be found to supervise activities on the premises (workers from on-site are of course eligible).
2) Appropriate Location
An internet connection is necessary for activities. Facilities allowing for the safe gathering of participants and execution of activities are also necessary.
3) Preparation of Materials
In addition to the Pangaea Pack, 4-5 computers (Windows PC, accommodating 3-5 participants each), a digital camera, and a scanner are also necessary. Stationery like drawing paper, colored pencils, and scissors should also be available.
4) Preparation for Pangaea Pack installation and maintenance fees
Installing the Pangaea Pack requires a few fees. In the first year of running Activities, a fee is required for the setup of the Pangaea Master Manual and Net System. From the next year onward, a server maintenance fee for the upkeep of internet services for participants will also become necessary.
Q3.I'd like to run Activities, but I don't have the budget. What should I do?
A. Recruiting support from corporations and raising funds are necessary.
Pangaea is currently recruiting full-tie sponsors from the corporate sector. Occasionally, there are corporations searching for locations to run Pangaea Activities.

Q4.Who can become a staff member?
A. Those who have gone to Pangaea Staff training sessions can participate. This is for the safety of our child participants.
Before the first Activity at a new Pangaea location, a Pangaea trainer will make a visit to the location and run a training session.
During the training session, a list of real-life scenarios involving children will be covered. After the training session, newly trained staff will run the activity and the training will be complete. After completion, new staff will receive a "Facilitator's Permit" and will from then on be officially recognized as Pangaea Facilitators.
Q5.At what kinds of places can I run activities?
A. Activities may be run in the following types of places:
- Children's House/Community Center
- Schools
- Museums/Art Institutes
- Commercial Facilities
Aside from these places, any safely and easily accessible facility with enough space to accommodate the number of participants and allow for internet access is acceptable. For more information, please visit the Pangaea Office website.
