Pangaea holds several training sessions a year for on-site technical staff at the same time with the ones for facilitators in all sites, where you can learn about the outline of our activity and experience it through role-playing. You can also learn basic technical skills including scanning, image processing and voice recording in a hands-on manner.

Q5. How often do volunteers participate in the activities?

A. Activities are held weekly as of June 2008. Currently-registered volunteers facilitate our activities twice a month on average, although there is no rule regarding the frequency of participation. Children can relax and enjoy more when they recognize the faces of facilitators at the activity, so it is preferable if you can participate regularly, even if it is once a month.

Q6. How do I apply if I want to register?

A. Please email us at to let us know that you are interested in volunteering as a facilitator. In reply, we will send you the volunteer entry sheet. Once you fill it out and send it back to us, we will contact you to schedule an interview, which will be followed by your participation in the facilitator training, before you actually join our activity.

We thank you in advance for your understanding of and cooperation with the above-mentioned registration process, which is designed to ensure the safety of the children with whom you will interact, once you become a registered volunteer.
